If children don?t learn from an early age that people are different, when will they do so?

The documentary "BERG FIDEL ? A SCHOOL FOR EVERYBODY" focuses on four children who attend the same elementary school in Münster. For three years Hella Wenders accompanied the children with her camera at school, at home and in their free time. The children talk about themselves and let us share their preferences, dreams and sorrows. We experience with them how it is to get along with different people. Adults have nothing to say in the film. The pictures speak for themselves. And we marvel at a small world that works in wondrous ways.

"I can?t hear well and I can?t see well but that\'s just stickler syndrome, a syndrome is something that?s already there from birth [...] but it doesn?t really bother me. I can still run almost as fast as Niklas. "
David, 10 years old, pupil at the Berg Fidel elementary school
