When snow falls on the cemeteries, it is too cold for Hans to spend his nights there. He is homeless. He pretends to be deaf and dumb so that someone lets him in. Christiane, who after her daughterˇs death, leads a secluded life on the edge of the village, takes him in for a night. Locked up in the basement he listens to her footsteps in the lonely house. During the night he manages to get to the rooms upstairs, where he watches and listens to her satisfying men with telephone sex.

On his way to deciding whether to be born or not, P. experiences funny as well as tragic moments. Will P. decide for a life on earth?
