I recently read in a magazine that there are about 5 million single women in France... Where are they ? I?m looking for a lady aged between 18 and 55 who?s also had trouble meeting someone in a conventional way and who wouldn?t mind giving a honest relationship with someone a shot..." "J?attendrai le suivant..." was nominated for the Oscar in 2003 and won the European Short Film Prize in 2004.

A girl. A dog. A mother. A topless man. This bewitching snapshot examines an encounter between a young girl and a topless man. As the small girl searches for something to do on a hot day, she aimlessly walks into the path of a stranger. It may be a sexual awakening for the girl or an encounter of a potentially more sinister nature.

A young Spanish woman and an illegal North African immigrant in Spain are two perfect strangers who are drifting without a direction and leaving behind a troubled past. A fast burning friendship forms by the light of an improvised fire in an abandoned building where they take shelter. They tell each other their life stories. Julia is a victim of repeated domestic violence which forced her to commit a crime. Said fled his country fearing for his life in the midst of political and military turmoil. Together they discover the value of friendship and find the strength to survive in a hostile world, embracing a better future.
