A beautiful flat, a good job, a great love. Julie, a young jazz singer and her husband Philipp have almost everything you can think of, and as Julie gets pregnant they seem to have it all. But the doctor makes a terrible diagnosis; the baby has down syndrome. Julie wants to have the child nevertheless, but Philipp doesn’t feel ready for a responsibility as big as that. They feel separated, and as Julie leaves Philipp, they both have to make their own decisions.
