The death of a young Arab man following a police stop sets off three intertwined and tragic stories: Mariama rushes to the hospital to see her son one last time. Noah’s friends Melek and Musa turn their lack of prospects into fun and games, which leads them to a plan: the head of a colonialist statue must go! Ibrahim, who was with his police unit—led by a racist commander—was not present at the tragic accident, but the tension on the streets is palpable. All the characters are driven by the same question: How much more must we do to truly belong in this society?
We look forward to seeing you at the cinema!
