1987 Graduation with a thesis on basic ethical questions as M.A.
Since 1989, after working as a journalist and theatre dramatic adviser, active as an independent documentary filmmaker and author
Since 2000 various teaching activities on film and documentary narration
Since 2010 Board member of the Swiss Film Directors and Screenwriters Association ARF/FDS
Since 2013 head of the documentary film department at Focal, Stiftung Weiterbildung Film und Audiovision
