Since 2010 Group leader and dramatic advisor for the MEDIA programme SOURCES 2. Various guest lectures, dramatic writing lessons and jury work (Vienna University, Goethe Institute Dublin, various film festivals)
His films "Die Souvenirs des Herrn X" in cooperation with arte and ORF, the award-winning "Exile Family Movie", "Mississippi" and "Ein Augenblick Freiheit" produced by Wegafilm and Les Films du Losange were awarded more than 50 international prizes. "Ein Augenblick Freiheit" was the Austrian candidate for the Academy Awards 2010

Born in Iran in 1972, raised in Austria
He studied media technology and worked as a screen and graphic designer in London and Vienna
Director of the 25-minute TV shows, "Sendung ohne Namen", "Sunshine Airlines" and "Momentum – What Drives You" for ORF and Red Bull Media House. His short film "Elektronikschrott" won the national short film award
2006 Arman participated in the Berlinale Talent Campus as director/screenwriter
In May 2011 his first feature documentary "Schwarzkopf" ("Darkhead", www.facebook.com/schwarzkopf-derfilm) premiered in Austria and won the audience award of the national Austrian film festival Diagonale 2011
"Schwarzkopf" was the opening film of the documentary film competition of the renowned Sarajevo Film Festival 2011
