LILIAN FRANCK
Lilian Franck has worked as a director and producer for over 20 years. She completed her training at the Baden-Württemberg Film Academy and the French Grande Ecole Le Fresnoy – Studio national des arts contemporains. Thanks to her intuition for stories Lilian celebrates international success with her feature films. In 2010 "Pianomania" was released in more than 25 countries and has received numerous awards. 2017 started "trustWHO", a personal investigation about the influence of the World Health Organization WHO. 2018 follows the documentary "Free Lunch Society", co-produced by Lilian, about the possibilities of an universal basic income.
ROBERT CIBIS
Robert Cibis has been a producer and director of documentary and feature films for 20 years. With his partner Lilian Franck he directed the award-winning film "Pianomania". His cinema debut "Jesus Loves You", a somewhat different film about the 2006 Football World Cup, was also a hit at numerous international festivals – including the Berlinale. He learned his craft at the studios for young European film producers at the Baden-Württemberg Film Academy and the Paris Film Academy FÉMIS. Prior to that he graduated in film studies at the Sorbonne Nouvelle in Paris and the Sapienza in Rome. He also took part in further education courses such as the Documentary Campus Masterschool or Eurodoc.
