NILS_FRAHM_All_Melody_credit_A © Alexander Schneider The haunting music to "Guardians of the Earth" is by the pianist and composer Nils Frahm, born in Hamburg in 1982. Frahm's compositions are an unconventional mix of contemporary classical music and minimalist electro sounds. For his score to Sebstian Schipper's feature film "Victoria" he was awarded the German Film Award in 2015. Frahm pieces such as "Says" and "Peter" give the documentary film about climate change a tingly goosebump character, melancholic and unsettling at the same time.
