»Johanna Moder's original screenplay was essentially a business detective story, only later did it develop into a comedy. The filmmaker found it particularly exciting how even artists like her and Marcel Mohab himself were able to use the system they characterise as bad, because art would no longer be conceivable in our day and age without the commitment and support of a few successful business enterprises.«
