Josef Mattes (Robert)

Josef Mattes was born in 1989. He made his first experiences as an actor at the beginning of the noughties in movies like "L'amante de la lune" and "Die Klavierstunde". Roles in bigger movies like "Life Actually" by Alain Gsponer or "Groupies bleiben nicht zum Frühstück" by Marc Rothemund followed. In addition there are short films like "Silent Youth", "Mehr" or "Continuity". From 2006 on, Mattes was seen in plays like "Wahrheit", "Revisor", "Lulu. A Monster Tragedy" as well as "Symphony #1 - After the Tragedy or What's Worth Living For" and "Symphony #2 - Intoxication".

On television he appeared in "March of millions" by Kai Wessel, "Neue Vahr Süd" by Hermine Huntgeburth and "Rose and the Soldier" by J.C. Barny as well as in series/series like "Tatort", "Krimi.de", "Stubbe" and "Soko Leipzig".

From 2011 to 2015 Mattes studied acting at the Otto Falckenberg School in Munich, but has currently withdrawn from acting.
