PALLAS FILM PRODUCTION

Pallas Film was founded in 2003 by Karl Baumgartner and Thanassis Karathanos in Halle an der Saale. Since then, the production company has concentrated on producing high-quality feature films that are intended to reach a broad German and international audience. Together with Twenty Twenty Vision, they already realized Sylvie Michel's first feature-length film “Die feinen Unterschiede” (2012). Other well-known titles from the production company's repertoire include “The Clouds of Sils Maria” (2014) with Juliette Binoche and Kristen Stewart, “The Fine Company” (2017) - also starring Juliette Binoche - and the Grimme Award-winning war drama “In the Fire - Two Sisters” (2020). Pallas Film regularly realizes co-productions with ZDF and ZDF/Arte.
