Florian Heinzen-Ziob
Born 1984 in Düsseldorf, Florian Heinzen-Ziob studied media art and film direction at the Academy of Media Arts Cologne from 2006 to 2012. During this time, he made a number of feature films, animation films and documentaries.
In 2013 he shot his first full-length documentary film "Original Copy" in Mumbai, India, which had its world premiere at the Hot Docs Film Festival in Toronto in 2015 and was screened at the Rotterdam International Film Festival and the Filmfestival Max Ophüls Preis, among others. His fictional short film "For Your Own Safety" celebrated its world premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival in New York in April 2016. He is currently shooting his second full-length documentary film. He is co-owner of Polyphem, an independent film production company. Florian Heinzen-Ziob lives and works in Cologne.
Georg Heinzen
Born in 1953, Georg Heinzen studied German and history at the Heinrich Heine University in Düsseldorf and film dramaturgy at the HFF in Munich. As a freelance author he writes screenplays for cinema and television, novels and plays.
In 2011 he lived as Artist in Residence of the Kunststiftung NRW in Mumbai, India. There, he held lectureships for the Whistling Woods Film School, Mumbai, and the Film and Television Institute of India, Puna. He is co-owner of Polyphem. Georg Heinzen lives and works in Düsseldorf.
