Beatrice Richter was born in Munich in 1948 and completed her training at the Otto Falckenberg Acting School in Munich. This was followed by theatre engagements in Baden-Baden, Bochum, Frankfurt, Hamburg and Munich.
The actress, entertainer, singer and comedian had her career breakthrough at Rudi Carrell's side in "Rudis Tagesschau". Rudi Carrell discovered her in Dieter Hildebrandt's cabaret show "Scheibenwischer". In 1982 she received the Golden Camera for her parodies in "Solo für Spaßvögel". Together with Dieter Krebs she thrilled millions of television viewers in "Sketchup". This was followed by jazz dance training with Frank Hatchett in New York. She also took part in various film and television productions, including "Traumschiff" "SOKO Leipzig" "In aller Freundschaft", "SOKO München", "Die Schwarzwaldklinik" and many more. In 2014 she played in "Tatort", "München 7" and in Dominic Graf's film "Die reichen Leichen. Ein Starnbergkrimi" and appeared for the first time with her daughter Judith in the sitcom "Im Schleudergang".
