All Inclusive – The Feature Film
"Weserlust Hotel" documents the extraordinary shooting of the inclusive film project "All Inclusive" by Eike Besuden. The feature film was released in cinemas in 2017.
What "All Inclusive" is about
Rosa has run the Hotel Weserlust for decades. She owns it and has run it with heart and soul. It is located directly on the Weser, with a view of the Werder and a small ferry that leads there. Rosa is now in her late 70s. She has a grown-up son, Ricky. He is disabled, but leads a fairly independent life. Suddenly and unexpectedly, Rosa dies of a heart attack. It is a situation for which no one is properly prepared, except Rosa herself, as it will turn out. The new situation will completely change life in the hotel, but how, no one knows at this moment. There are many questions for the people involved and very different interests, and for everyone the uncertainty is great at first. What will become of the hotel? Ricky is to inherit it, that is clear, but can he also run it? Can he take over the position of manager in the hotel? Does he even want to? How will the employees react? Will everything collapse now, or will Ricky sell?
